Sellsocial is a brand of W Tech Media Sdn Bhd (company number 202101024296), Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. W Tech Media Sdn Bhd is the data controller for everything described on this page. This site is www.sellsocial.co.

What we collect when you enquire

If you send an enquiry through the contact form we collect your name, company, email address, country, website, your social profile if you give one, what you sell, what you need, where you sell today, and anything you write in the message.

We also record how you reached us: the page that referred you, the page you landed on, and any campaign tags or click identifiers in the address you arrived through.

Why we collect it

To answer your enquiry and to take the steps you have asked us to take before any agreement between us. We also use it to understand which of our marketing brings us enquiries, which is our legitimate interest in running the business. We do not sell your data and we do not send marketing to people who have not asked for it.

Where it goes

Enquiries are emailed to our team and kept in our business email and records. We do not currently pass them to any customer relationship system; if that changes we will name the provider here. Our website is hosted by our web host, and standard server logs including your IP address are kept for security and diagnostics. Some of these providers operate outside your country, which means your information may be transferred and stored elsewhere.

Cookies and measurement

We use Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to see how the site is used – which pages people read, how they arrived, and which enquiries came from which campaign. We also use advertising and measurement tags from the platforms we advertise on, which may include TikTok, Meta, LinkedIn and Google. These set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser and record a conversion when you reach our thank-you page after sending an enquiry.

Separately, and without cookies, the site keeps the campaign information described above in your browser’s session storage for the length of your visit. It is discarded when you close the tab.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking them will not stop you using this site or sending an enquiry.

Fonts

This site uses the Inter typeface, served from our own web server. No font is requested from Google or any other third party, so your IP address is not shared with anyone for that purpose.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for 24 months from our last contact with you, then deleted. Where we go on to work together, we keep what we need for the length of that engagement and for as long afterwards as the law requires.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to stop using it, or ask for a copy of it. Email hello@mscm.my and we will answer within 30 days. If you are in the UK or the European Union and you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to your national data protection authority.

Changes

If we change how we handle your information we will update this page and change the date at the top.
